Registration Now Open

 



St. Mary Immaculate Parish School registration for the 2017-2018 school year is now open.  As a school, we are proud of the high quality educational experience, staff, and faith based education that we provide.  Not only is our curriculum challenging, and staff progressive, but the St. Mary's community is an incredible group to get involved and active with.

Join us for Ash Wednesday, which opens up Lent, a season of fasting and prayer. 

The ashes on our forehead symbolize the dust from which God made us.

Pizza Night



Fat Tuesday, March 28
5-7:30 pm in the SMI Gym

For only $5 per person or $20 per family, you can try all the pizza you'd like from a number of different pizza places and restaurants in the Greater Plainfield Community!

A cash bar will be available.

The St. Mary Immaculate Family Pizza Night is made possible due to the generous donations of many local restaurants and the St. Mary Immaculate Men's Club. 

 

Change to Manna at SMI

Beginning January 3, 2017, Manna will only be sold on weekdays in the parish office from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. There will no longer be weekend sales. Keep an eye on the website over the next few weeks for information on our exciting new Scrip Online Program, coming soon.
 

Collecting Old Palms for Ash Wednesday

We will be collecting old palms from February 11 through February 26. These palms will be burned on February 27 and the ashes will be used on Ash Wednesday, March 1. Any palms returned after February 26 will be used next year. Please bring your old palms to the Commons, Narthex, or Cana Hallway and place them in the designated baskets.

 

Annual PĄCZKI Sale

Sunday, Feb. 26th 8 am-12:30 pm in the Gym Price: $1.50 each
Polish Ministry will host the traditional pre-Lenten treats. Flavors incude: strawberry, custard, prune and apricot. Last year they sold out in one hour therefore this year we have placed a much bigger order so nobody would leave without this delicious treat.


Spaghetti Dinner: A Benefit For The Pocias Family

Proudly Sponsored by the Plainfield Prowlers. Saturday, Feb. 25th 5 pm-8 pm in the SMI Gym
$10 for Adults,  $8 for Children 10 and under
