Fr. Philip Harry Mbeta is a diocesan priest for the Archdiocese of Blantyre in Malawi, C. Africa.

He was ordained to the priesthood on July 23, 1994, after seven years of training in seminaries of Philosophy and Theology in Malawi. 

He comes from a family of nine children and was raised in his home district of Thyolo in the southern region of Malawi.

Fr. Philip was in residence at St. Mary Immaculate Parish and he graduated with a Doctorate degree from Benedictine University in Lisle. 

Fr. Philip is returning home to Blantyre, Malawi on Wednesday, June 6, 2007.
