Catholics Returning Home

Catholics Returning Home, a special program designed for non-practicing Catholics. If you are a Catholic who has been away from our Church, we invite you to rejoin us as an active member of “One Family in Faith.”

Beginning Monday, July 15th in North Wing Room B, we invite you to come home! Over six weeks, in a small group format, you will get answers to your specific questions with the help of former non-practicing Catholics and clergy. In the process, private issues are identified, discussed and dealt with – privately – compassionately, all with the goal of making Returning Home easy and fulfilling. We think you’ll discover a welcoming Church.

Catholics Returning Home helps Catholics reconnect with their faith, and their relationship with Christ. There is no obligation or cost. Join us and you will find:

  • Supportive, non-judgmental group where you can freely explore your concerns and questions.
  • Small community including others thinking about returning, recently returned Catholics and clergy.
  • Safe haven in which private issues are identified and dealt with privately, with compassion.
  • Warm environment where you will be welcomed.

The group is open to all. Pre-registration is requested. For more information call the group’s facilitator, Deacon Tom O’Connell, at (815) 230-2241 or call the Parish at (815) 436-2651.
