Undy Sunday
 



In conjunction with Make a Difference Day, we are having the Undy Sunday drive.  We are collecting NEW underwear, long underwear, undershirts, and socks in all sizes for children and adults.  Also diapers for children and adults. 

Beginning Monday,
October 15th through Sunday, October 21st
,

All Saints Day Masses


All Saints Day Masses will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 31st and Thursday November 1st.  All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation.

Make a Difference Day 2018  

 

Make a Difference Day 2018 is just around the corner!  This year, MaDD will take place on Saturday, October 20th.  Sign-ups for individual projects are currently available!

You can sign up today at smip.org/MaDD, for different projects around our parish and our community.  In October, we will have Chromebooks available in the Narthex and Commons to sign-up for projects.  For more information, please contact Pam Angelus at 815-436-2651 x849.   

 

Reverence for Life:  40 Days for Life Updates
Join The Reverence for Life Ministry as they pray to end the legalization of abortion in our country and pray for the right to life from conception to natural death.  The 40 Days for Life lasts from September 26th - November 4th.  

Important Dates:

Rosary for Life:  September 26th @ 6:15 pm 
Monthly Prayer Vigil:  October 13th (Sign-ups Oct. 6-7 in Commons after Masses)
Rosary by Memorial Crosses:  October 14th @ 1:30 pm along Rt. 59

SMI School Cookbook Fundraiser

SMI Home and School is having their annual Cookbook Fundraiser, and the deadline for submissions has been extended!  If you are a cook and have a go-to recipe, we want to hear from you!  Submit your favorite recipe by entering it online at https://cookbookpublishers.com/utypeit2/ and using the login "cookbook" and password "SMI" (click EDIT on right, RECIPES, ADD RECIPE), by dropping off a copy at the Commons desk, or email the recipe to Melanie Broderick at mbroderick@elitepsi.com

 

Protecting God's Children

Out of concern for the safety and well-being of children, every diocesan, parish, school, or religious education employee or volunteer who is involved with minors on a regular, recurring basis and those who may have an opportunity to be alone with children during parish, school, or religious education sponsored events are required to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children program.  The following dates will have classes at St. Mary Immaculate in Faith Sharing Room.
