We are seeking a part-time Youth Formation Coordinator at St. Mary Immaculate Parish. This person would be responsible for collaborating with Faith Formation Minsters to create and provide opportunities to our junior high and high school youths for encountering Jesus Christ through catechesis, evangelization, service and worship. This position is designed to allow for some creativity from the candidate to determine how best to accomplish this goal.
The Youth Formation Coordinator would also provide support to the Confirmation program by developing and presenting monthly Parent and Teen nights of reflection and acting as support staff during weekly Confirmation sessions.
We’re looking for someone who is a committed and practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church, enjoys working with all ages of youth Grades 7-12, and demonstrates excellent communication skills. The ability to minister in Spanish is a plus. A college degree and/or prior experience in RE or Youth Ministry is preferred. Availability to work nights and weekends is a must.
