We are seeking a full-time Liturgy Coordinator at St. Mary Immaculate Parish. Candidates should be living in full sacramental communion with the Catholic Church. Bachelor’s degree, along with advanced level of liturgy certification preferred.
Key responsibilities include scheduling and training liturgical volunteers, and coordinating details for parish Masses, including extended Christmas and Easter schedule. The Liturgy Coordinator is also responsible for management of the church environment and Adoration Chapel.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, coupled with strong organizational habits that will allow him/her to be successful in overseeing the entire program’s needs from planning and recruitment to training. Coordination and collaboration with other staff members, parish clergy, and visiting clergy is crucial.
Since this position revolves around liturgy, hours include Saturday and Sunday when Mass is taking place, Monday for the Liturgy Department meeting, Friday for weekend preparation, and one additional weekday. The person in this position will have two days off during the week.
