Coldest Night of the Year

Coldest Night of the Year

Coldest Night of the Year 2K/5K Walk to Support the Homeless
February 28 – Downtown Joliet

The Coldest Night of the Year is a 2k/5k walk through Joliet at night. Walking at night in the cold weather represents what someone who is homeless and hungry might be going through. Thousands of people across the country will be walking on the same day and time to help bring funds and awareness to hunger and homelessness in our own communities. All funds raised go to Catholic Charities’ two shelters: Daybreak and Hope House.

It’s free to participate, but monetary donations are welcomed. To register to walk, volunteer to help at the event, or make a monetary donation, go to cnoy.com/location/Joliet.

Questions? Contact Derek Schultz at dschultz@cc-doj.org or 815-724-1160.
