Little Sisters of the Poor

The Little Sisters of the Poor from St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged in Palatine will be at the Masses at St. Mary Immaculate on the weekend of September 13th and 14th to share information about our mission, which is to welcome the neediest elderly, regardless of race or religion, into our home as we would welcome Christ, and care for them as family until the moment when Our Lord calls them to himself. There will be a second collection to support the work of St. Joseph’s Home.
You can visit http://www.littlesistersofthepoorpalatine.org to read more, make a donation, or submit a prayer request, which will go directly to a sister. We look forward to seeing you!

In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters.
In this life you embraced them with your tender love; deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal rest.
The old order has passed away: welcome them into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
Amen
