The Hispanic Ministry primarily serves the Spanish-speaking community, coordinating all the Hispanic ministries of our parish with the objective of developing the Hispanic / Latino community spiritually, educationally, and socially.

The Ministry has the responsibility of ensuring that all Hispanic ministries follow our parish’s processes, procedures, and regulations. The ministry is also responsible for Hispanic ministers to receive all parish and Diocese of Joliet required training, which allows the ministry to provide continuous support to existing ministries, for the creation of new ministries, and any required parish activities.

The Ministry defines and coordinates Hispanic oriented parish masses, activities, and events, such as “Dia de los Difuntos (Muertos)”, “Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe”, “Via Crucis (dramatization of the Stations of the Cross)” and the traditional Christmas “Posadas”. The ministry also provides ESL classes, citizenship, registration for voters and any other type of workshop that helps and strengthens the Hispanic / Latino community.
