The Spiritual Motherhood of Priests is a new ministry at St. Mary Immaculate.  Its goal is to have women in our parish spiritually adopt a priest in our diocese with the purpose of covering him in regular, committed prayer.  Ideally, each priest will have two spiritual mothers. 

This ministry asks the following of its members:

• One prayer daily for your priest-son
• Eucharistic Adoration – strive for weekly, but at a minimum, twice a month
• Rosary for priest-son – once a month
• Confession regularly
• You must remain anonymous to your priest-son and everyone
• We adopt our priest-son for life – your life.  If priest-son should pass, you continue to pray for his soul.
• Sacrifices during Lent and/or Advent or World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life
