Catherine “Cat” Lamlech was born in Chicago, IL and raised in Plainfield, IL with her six siblings by her parents Michael and Lorrie Lamlech. A strong Catholic family, Cat was attracted to Jesus at a young age, especially to His presence in the Holy Eucharist. As her home parish, St. Mary Immaculate, offered perpetual adoration, her spousal relationship to Jesus became so natural that she didn’t realize He was calling her to be a nun until she was 23 years old. Thanks to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, she received the grace to courageously follow this call, which led her to enter the Carmel of St. Joseph in St. Louis, MO on August 27th, 2018, once more being drawn to Jesus in the Eucharist. Now Sr. Miriam of the Holy Spirit, she will be making her final profession of the religious vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, whereupon the Catholic Church will solemnly receive and recognize her undivided, exclusive love for Jesus Christ.
Please pray for Sr. Miriam of the Holy Spirit, O.C.D.
