Last month St. Vincent de Paul had an article in the bulletin requesting help for a most needy family in our parish – the father of which is going through kidney failure, lost his job, has three young children, a devoted wife and is struggling to pay the monthly bills. Our objective was to raise enough money to pay off this family’s car loan and eliminate a major monthly payment. It is with enormous gratitude to confirm that SVdP did indeed raise enough money and we paid off this family’s entire car loan! Although this family still faces other financial challenges, they no longer have to worry about their only vehicle being repossessed.
Of course this would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our parishioners. Because of you a significant burden has been lifted from this family and they are so very grateful. THANK YOU and may GOD continue to bless you for your extraordinary response to this impoverished family.
